Happy Monday everyone!
Here we are, about 2 weeks since my last post. Oops! I’ve been so busy with work, and when I get home I have time for dinner, I play with Eleanor and then it’s bedtime.
But here I am now to catch you up on what we’ve been up to.
Our Mother’s Day was a nice one. We had my parents over for lunch; David made his awesome burgers! I also found a picture of me in 1985 and was able to recreate it with Eleanor and gave the prints to my mom. 🙂 Too cute!
Last Tuesday, David and I had tickets to see the Red Sox play, but it ended up in a rain delay (8:30 for the first pitch). And since we’re old, we left before it started.
The hotel I work for had their first contract signed, for an event being held a couple of months after opening. We enjoyed a little celebration at the end of the work day!

This past weekend we ran the Mystic River Herring Run 5K, with a few people from work. The weather was beautiful and we had fun running it, with no time goal in mind. I ended up finishing just shy of 38 minutes, and I am still sore today. I need to get out more!

Recent Meals
L-R: Homemade meat sauce over angel hair pasta | David’s awesome burgers topped with cheese, onion, pickles and bacon | Baked chicken with broccoli and applewood smoked bacon mashed potatoes.
L-R: Bogle Cabernet Sauvignon with potato chips | Lasagna from my favorite restaurant in the North End – Limoncello | Chicken wraps (with peppers, cheese, brown rice and salsa – added after the picture was taken)
And that’s what I’ve been up to! Aside from these highlights, it’s been all about work and then relaxing with family.
And I will end this post on a beautiful note: a picture of Eleanor, taken by my extremely talented friend Alyssa.
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Let me know what you’ve been up to! 🙂
