Normally I would start out a holiday post like this by saying that I hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. But that just doesn’t seem…right…during this time that we’re in. I guess all I can say is that I hope you all are doing well, despite what your Thanksgiving situation was. I always hope the best for everyone but understand that there are struggles out there.
My parents, who have been a part of our bubble since this all began, were able to come by for dinner. I made turkey, green beans, cranberry sauce and crescent rolls. My mom brought her delicious mashed potatoes and picked up two pies from a local restaurant (berry crumble and egg nog pies). Oh and she made homemade boozy egg nog! I’m not usually an egg nog fan, but this was delicious!
I didn’t take any pictures, but did put together this video you can watch on my Bliss on the Trail YouTube channel!
And we celebrated this little guy turning a year old!
Lincoln Edward, you have completed our family and I absolutely adore your infectious smile and your adventurous personality!
As we approach the end of 2020 and onward towards the holidays, I want to wish everyone a healthy and safe holiday. I hope that you are able to find a way to stay connected to your loved ones.
❤
