Snow Days

As I write this (Tuesday afternoon), we are being inundated with our third nor’easter in two weeks. The first one, at the beginning of March, gave us about 10 inches of snow, but it was the coast that was more impacted. The tides were astronomically high at that time of year, and the waterfront areas of the city were flooded. I believe that some of the coast lines were changed, indefinitely. A few people I know were affected by that storm and I hope that they are making out OK.

The second storm brought us about 14″. Last week, I had to leave work early on Wednesday and come in later on Thursday. Thankfully we didn’t lose power, but our cable/internet was out for the majority of Thursday morning.

Today, we’re expected to see between 12 to 18 inches. It started about 5AM and will be stopping around 8PM.

We got outside before it really started to come down (about 3″ every hour!) but clearly someone wasn’t having as much fun.

We even tried to make it fun by making a little sled for her.

We didn’t last long, but luckily she was all smiles when we got inside, so hopefully we haven’t scarred her for life. šŸ˜‰

Is it spring yet?? Or more importantly: is it my birthday yet? šŸ˜›

Have you been caught up in these crazy storms?
