Charlestown Touch-a-Truck

I think I’ve said this in the past, but I absolutely love how involved my place of work is in the surrounding community. A couple of weekends ago it was the Herring Run 5K, and yesterday we went to Charlestown for their Touch-a-Truck event. Since Eleanor is only 13 months old, she wasn’t super interested in everything, but she never fussed over the amount of people or the noises. We stayed for a little over an hour and she sat in a firetruck, police cruiser, 18-wheeler and even got to pet a dog that works with the US National Park Service. And the weather was beautiful, albeit a little bit windy.

Are there any fun (free) events out your way?

Have a great week everyone!
