Happy almost end of 2025! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
The week before Christmas we were hit with a stomach bug that knocked us out for a few days. Thank goodness it happened when it did and we were all feeling better by Christmas. We spent time at my parents house, our house and the in laws. Thankfully everyone lives close so not much traveling for us.
To kick off the holiday, our activity to see lights was Winter at Wooville at Polar Park. We had such a great time, taking pictures any chance we could. The weather was a bit chilly but thankfully not windy or rainy/snowy. We enjoyed some delicious hot chocolate and the light up slides and swings.

On Christmas Eve, we spend it at my parent’s house. I always love how they decorate; so festive.

We even had snow leading into Christmas Eve so it was a white Christmas! It was a really nice morning, with gifts from Santa and cinnamon rolls. The big gift this year? We’re taking the kids to Quebec City! I’ve been a couple of times, and my family heritage is French Canadian so I’m so excited for them to experience everything.

How adorable is the little Christmas scene in the last picture? It was an advent calendar from Kiwi Co., so every day they were able to build a little something to create Santa’s village. And the streetlights even light up!
Later that day, we visited the in-laws and had some delicious snacks and a wonderful visit with everyone.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and here’s to an even better 2026!
