The ultimate goal of running is not to be fast, but to be happy. This, this, this! I sometimes can't get out of my own head and think that I have to go fast in order to be a runner. But when I throw that expectation out the window, rubbing does become more fun. 😄

To keep healthy, to exercise everyday. Go run. Well I definitely don't run everyday, but I try and balance between running, walking and strength training. I think I've found the sweet spot: 3 runs, 2 full body workouts and rests/walks between. 😄

Running builds your character resilient. I definitely think I've become more resilient and have overcome any doubts I've had about myself. I continue to persevere.

The process of running is a process of continuous improvement. I have had my setbacks over time (usually by pregnancy, not injury), and every time I was able to come back without losing too much fitness. It would take a while to come back but not like it was at the beginning.
