Before I get into the quote today, I would just like to acknowledge the 12th anniversary of the Boston Marathon bombing. I wrote a whole blog post about it but I think it got lost when I switched platforms in 2014/15.

I happened to be there, volunteering about 2 blocks from the finish line. It’s a day that I will never forget, nor will I forget how everyone in the city came together and how they continue to come together on April 15th, on One Boston Day. 💙💛

And next Monday I’ll be back, volunteering at the Boston Marathon. Between my former hospitality job and volunteering at the water stop, this will be my 6th year. It’s seriously one of my favorite days!
