There may be people that have more talent than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you.

Before I started running, I wouldn’t say that I had no drive whatsoever, but I really feel like having the discipline to train for races has spilled over into my professional and personal life. I work hard at my jobs and for my family.

And today I got to celebrate my birthday! It was a great weekend with good food, a new brewery and a St. Pat’s 5K! Oh, and cupcakes!
