Running is my private time, my therapy, my religion.
There is definitely a theme here about what running does for me and my mental health. I do see it as therapeutic, and I’ve been blessed with health and strength to be able to run (fairly) consistently since 2007. I even ran two races the few months after having my daughter and ran a race 13 weeks pregnant with my son. I’m also so blessed to have the support of my family for being able to run my training runs and races. It’s one of the few hobbies I have so I truly enjoy the private time to do it. ![]()
